Accessibility statement for Pain Stories Lab

This accessibility statement applies to website [www.painstorieslab.org].

This website is run by the Pain Stories Lab at University of Bath. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:

  • change colours, contrast levels and fonts

  • zoom in up to 200% without the text spilling off the screen

  • navigate most of the website using just a keyboard

  • navigate most of the website using speech recognition software

  • listen to most of the website using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver)

What we're doing to improve accessibility

We are using a publishing planform (Wix) which is stable and has been tested for accessibility issues. This cuts down, but does not totally remove, the risk of web editors adding content that is not accessible. 

Preparation of this accessibility statement

This statement was prepared on 24th March 2023.

This website was last tested on 24th March 2023. The test was carried out using Wix Accessibility Wizard, and axe DevTools Chrome Extension.

 

We plan to carry out further testing on a yearly basis, and on any new content added to the website.
